Surface Must be Structurally Sound

Use Vexcon's cleaning products to remove any and all:

• Coatings
• Adhesives
• Curing compounds
• Sealers
• Bond breakers
• Overspray
• Dry wall
• Marking paint
• Oil, dirt,etc.

Once concrete is cleaned, allow to dry for a 12 hour period prior to testing for water absorbtion.

Dip your fingers in a cup of water and let the drops fall onto the concrete.

The concrete should:

• Darken/wet out
• Absorb the water
• Pull the water into a larger area
• Absorb the water fully and rapidly

If concrete is dusting or soft, remove the surface by mechanical means until hard concrete is revealed.
