Form Treatments
Our form releases come in a wide range of formulations to meet specific project requirements. We offer reactive, neutral, water-based and biodegradable varieties to keep your forms in top condition. Our products prevent concrete build up on the form surface and leave no residue on the placed formed concrete. These releasing treatments produce smooth concrete surfaces and minimize dusting and surface voids and can be used on a variety of form face materials.
VOC Water Base
StarSeal EF Release
An economical, non-staining, crystal clear water based form release agent which provides exceptional release properties while protecting environmentally sensitive areas and the workers who apply the product. Recommended for aluminum, metal, wood forms and is the product of choice for plastic form liners.
StarSeal EF Bio-Release
A water based form release treatment made from bio-degradable, rapidly renewable oils. The product does not contain petroleum oils, is odor and VOC free, making it the product of choice for environmentally sensitive areas and protecting the workers who apply the product.
StarSeal EF 1500 CW Release
A non-staining, clear, water based form release for cold weather forming. The product can be used at below freezing temperatures and will not freeze at temperatures as low as at 10° F (-12° C). StarSeal EF 1500 CW Release provides exceptional release properties yielding a smooth uniform concrete finish. The product contains technologically advanced additives which provide exceptional bonding characteristics to many form types including galvanized steel. Ideal for use in environmentally sensitive areas as well as a maintenance treatment to prevent concrete build up on construction equipment. The product is an economical alternative to oil based form releases.
StarSeal EF 1500 Release
A non-staining, clear, water based form release that provides exceptional release properties yielding a smooth uniform concrete finish. The product contains technologically advanced additives which provide exceptional bonding characteristics to many form types including galvanized steel. Ideal for use in environmentally sensitive areas as well as a maintenance treatment to prevent concrete build up on construction equipment. The product is an economical alternative to oil based form releases.

StarSeal EF V Release
Ecologically acceptable form release made from renewable resources and is biodegradable. Provides a clean, smooth and grain free concrete surface. Use on all standard form types.
Certi-Vex FRN
A neutral based release for all form types specifically formulated to reduce dusting.
Certi-Vex FR & FRL VOC
Premium chemically active oil based form release agents that ensure a clean positive release for many types of concrete forms. Certi-Vex Form Release VOC products are ready to use and ideal for all applications ranging from foundations to architectural concrete. These products include a special rust inhibitor to minimize rust formation on steel forms.
Certi-Vex Envio Strip AFR
Specifically formulated for premium release on aluminum and pre-cast forms with steam curing. Non staining, quick drying and easily applied.
Certi-Vex Envio FR Zero VOC
Premium oil based release agent with zero VOC. Excellent alternative to a water based release agents when a very low VOC product is required. Will not freeze. Use on all standard form types.

A low VOC neutral based release for all form types specifically formulated to reduce dusting.
